The approach to delivering a well-rounded web development course involves exposing students to online web development solutions, learning to evaluate websites for the "user experience", identifying and using terminology commonly found in the industry, basic HTML markup experiences and integrating CSS.

Group projects will follow the first three fundamental units as they work towards mastering the idea of responsive design and the phases of web development as it relates to working in teams. Students are immersed in an evironment that simulates the workplace.

Assignments address real world issues for real companies. Critical thinking strategies along with writin assignments prepare students to formulate an understanding of current design trends and are used to stimulate innovation.
