August

Created the Hello World web page and learned HTML for the first time. Explored, created, managed folders to create my first Root Folder. Learned that using a simple text editor, web pages can be made. We are the creators of WeAreOne.media for Roosevelt High School.

September

Learned about the 3 types of CSS and how they are applied. My favorite style sheet is the internal style sheet because it's all right there in the document. Most pages that create an impact usually are one page websites anyway. If I wanted to update styles across multiple pages, I would obviously use external CSS.

October

Created the RGB photoshop document in Adobe Photoshop. We learned about layer styles and explored some filters. In the end we used Photoshop to generate table code in HTML by using the Slice tool. Super handy although tables aren't really used as often these days.

November

Started some portfolio projects. The Whole Donut is a donut shop that offers online order and payment. Later, customers can pick up their donuts with a code at a drive-thru window. The O-Phone release site was also added to our portfolio. This also was a time where we started monkeying with Javascript.

December

To wrap up the semester we worked hard on our portfolio website. Using W3 templates, I was able to edit code to include all the information needed to share my experience in Web Design class. You're reading about it right now!
